Believe You Can Achieve Your Dreams

Report Cards/Goal Setting

What is goal setting?

Goal Setting is is the process of deciding on something you want, planning how to get it, and then working towards the objective. …

We just completed our 2nd 9 week grading period and report cards went home on Friday.  I know you had a discussion with your parents about your grades.  Well, I believe, as do your parents, that it is always room for improvement.  I would like everyone to begin this 9 week period with setting a goal,  making a plan on how to accomplish the goal, and blogging about your progress every two weeks until the end of the 9 week period.    This sounds like alot, but really it’s not.

1st – state your goal, and keep it simple!

2nd – make your plan!

3rd – keep track of progress and blog every two weeks!

( I have a graph page to help you keep track)

Ready, Set, Goal!!!!!!!!!

Music makes the World go round!

The 5th grade Best Made Children would like to know about your music history?

Here are their questions:

Who is your favorite singer?

What is your favorite song, or favorite musical game?

How has music helped you deal with school or homework?

It would be great to include a line of your favorite song!

Santa

Santa Claus is coming to town.  He will be visiting our campus today.  He will be visiting your home on January 25.  Have you been naughty or nice this year?  If  you were nice, what fun items did you put on your Christmas List?

Snow in San Antonio

The weather forecaster predicts snow in San Antonio.  Most of us have never experienced snow.  What kind of fun will you have frolicking in around in the snow?

I Like Me!!

I would like to know what you like about yourself?  This is a chance for you to TOOT your own horn!!!  The answer should contain an acronym.  An acronym is a word formed from the initial letters of  several words in the name.  Here is an example: TAKS  stands for Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills.   I will describe myself.  I am BAD (Bossy, Assertive, Dedicated)  Let’s see what you can come up with!!
